Get to Know David

David has over three decades of significant firm leadership and client service experience as a Tax professional. He has been the lead tax partner for ASC 740 provision and served as tax advisor for more than 100 public companies, many of which are Silicon Valley’s most influential ones. David specializes in compliance and consulting for complex tax and business issues facing venture capital-funded private businesses, organizations planning for an IPO, and publicly traded companies in technology. David has led outsourced tax departments for many of the Valley’s best start-ups and private businesses. He has been the lead tax provider and advisor for over 25 companies, helping them through their IPO readiness. As a creative problem solver, David always looks to understand his client's needs and find opportunities to help them expand their possibilities. He helps clients with accounting for income taxes, M&A, accounting periods and methods, R&D tax credits, tax audits, and state and local taxation. Before Dello, David was a Partner with Deloitte and Armanino, where he served many prominent technology clients and built and led the firm’s Tax Practice. David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University.
